This October, our Ravens did Halloween a little differently ๐
We challenged them to be inventive in carving pumpkins, squash, aubergines and there was even a coconut somewhere in there....

This year, our social events have taken a crazy turn. With the usual newbie night not being possible, we had to take a different approach.
We challenged our Ravens to carve whatever they could find in the supermarket (preferably pumpkins).
We know they're a creative bunch, but we didn't really anticipate seeing them using drills and soldering irons. But you know what they say... "when in home!"

Martyn Steel
Some of the designs were...questionable. ๐ฅ

Kev Hickey
Others were artistic. ๐จ

Robin Davies
Some were modelled on their pups...we think? ๐ค

David Chatting
and others were spooky! ๐ป

Liam Gordon
Liam's glowed in the dark, ๐

Gordon Cunningham
while his husband modelled him stuck in rush hour traffic. ๐งโ

Brian, Kyle & James
This one had a pipe,

George Gardner
and this Raven just made a mess...๐

Chris Buckton
This Raven carved his Moroccan lantern a friend. ๐ค

James Pringleton
James's pumpkin got merry, ๐ฅด

Graeme O'Boyle
and this one thought it was easter. ๐ฟ

James Styles
James' had a scary grin, ๐น

Ruben
while Ruben's flew off into the wind. ๐งน

Sam Clarke
We think this one was going time traveling...We're still not sure. โณ
Jamie Carress
It was Jamie's first attempt of DIY๏ธ, โ๏ธ

Marc Bakker
but the time did fly by ๐ฆ

Eventually we had to choose our winners...๐

Chris Knight
Third place went to Chris, although unfortunately his water mellon was a little bit worse for wear by that point ๐.

James & Josh
Second place was because of creativity...Not a pumpkin in sight and all from the Tesco's reduction section

Bas Olthof-Bakker
But the winning design was this piece of artwork...soon to be displayed at the Laing Art Gallery! Around the back next to the bus stop.

Everyone had fun, no fingers were lost, and the night ended with a game of never have I ever. It is safe to say that several Ravens never made it to O2 Touch training the next day.
